Dressage Shows

Compass Rose has been hosting Dressage Schooling Shows since 2002. VADA/Nova most years holds two shows at the farm. The CDCTA usually hold a Combined Test, which includes Dressage Tests. The CDCTA photos are on the Jumping Album Page.

Last year we also held a Benefit Dressage Schooling Show of our own. It was well received, so we will probably do that again.

The most photogenic event at the farm was probably the CDCTA vs. VADA/Nova Team Dressage Challenge, which for many years was ridden in costume. This was not held in 2010, but we hope there will be an event in the same spirit again.

I have taken most of these photos, and so they are a bit tilted towards my horses and the horses of folks that board here. When I am also riding or doing volunteer work at the show, I don't get to take many pictures.
